1978. The Torre Baró settlement on the outskirts of Barcelona is a neighbourhood of shacks, built by people from Extremadura and Andalusia. Although the community has been requesting improvements for years, they have been ignored by the state. One of the residents, Manolo Vital (Fernández), works down the hill in the city as a bus driver on line 47.
