Everest: The Other Side (CTC)
Jim Morrison and Hilaree Nelson set out to achieve what no one has done before: climb Everest’s formidable North Face and ski back down through the near-vertical Hornbein Couloir.
It’s an audacious undertaking, captured for the IMAX screen by Oscar-winning filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin. But this is more than a film about extreme adventure. As the expedition unfolds, Morrison is forced to confront the choices and losses that have shaped his life, adding an unexpectedly personal dimension to an extraordinary feat.
