Set in 1977, against the backdrop of Brazil’s brutal military dictatorship, the film follows Marcelo, a man in his forties attempting to outrun a troubled past. Seeking refuge in the coastal city of Recife, Marcelo hopes to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family, but his arrival is shadowed by unseen forces and the constant threat of violence, as death threats linger ominously at every turn.
